The Institute for Working Futures Pty Ltd
ABN 22 054 466 769

Since its inception in early 1990, the Institute for Working Futures (IFWF) has responded to the global challenges facing businesses and regional communities. It has undertaken national work with corporations and governments across Australia and South East Asia. IFWF recognises a range of interlocking solutions that must be used to accommodate the organisational, social and economic goals a business or community need to achieve within their own context.

While IFWF encourages integration and collaboration across business planning, infrastructure, market and knowledge development frameworks, it recognises that there is no one starting point. Ultimately all solutions have to be viable at the point of application and be owned by the people who will undertake the desired transformations.

The Working Futures™ team focusses on developing:

  • Learning and development systems in physical and digital environments.

  • Applied Research that results in strategic and real outcomes for business or industries.

  • Information Technology and e-business audits and reports that determine how to accelerate the adoption of enabling technology and knowledge that generate sustainable growth within non-ICT businesses, especially small businesses.

  • Capability frameworks and knowledge capital systems that can build individual, group, organisational and industry capabilities - skills, knowledge, competencies, traits, and other attributes - to enhance current productivity and future potential.
